Black wool cardigan by tricot comme des garcons (1997). Made from fairly substantial knitted wool, the surface of the cardigan is covered with large, decorative purple flowers which have been painted / printed / applied (?) onto the surface of the fabric (making those portions of the cardigan unusually stiff in the process). There is ribbing at the neckline, cuffs, and hem.

The cardigan is in excellent condition for its age, with minor wear.
